Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering to help us succeed.  We need a lot of help to work smoothly and there are a lot of ways to contribute.

Financial-  Monetary support for supplies to make the masks helps to support the makers that put their time and effort into creating the pieces

Donation of Materials-  If you have materials at home that you would like to donate to people who can use it, we will help get you connected. Materials may include: fabric, elastic, bias tape, thread, wire nose support (ie: floral wire etc.)

Prep Work Assistance- This is ideal for the individual who are comfortable cutting out pattern pieces and bagging them for our makers. Cutting patterns can be a time-consuming process and many makers would rather be at the machine stitching. Donating your time and a sharp pair of scissors (or rotary cutter) to the cause can help make a lot of masks!

Delivery & Pick up- We need individuals to pick up donated materials and deliver them to the makers who can use it and then pick up the completed masks and deliver them to the organizations that can use them.  This involves travel. We ask that you take your own health and safety seriously. Wipe down surfaces, keep items separated, and wear a mask and gloves if you can.

Admin & Data Organization- This project is growing quickly and requires a lot of logistical support.  Those who don’t feel they have the skills to sew can be helpful in managing all of the data and keeping us organized. We are looking for a small team of people in each county to help organize this with the assistance of the admins. This would include managing spreadsheets, linking supplies to makers, and organizations needing our masks.

Communication & Outreach- These volunteers would be on the teams by county that would help be a point of contact between our group and people who need supplies.  We will help with support and guidance on what information we need and what to do with the information.
